All my other devices had fast internet by for some reason my PC was download much slower than others.

On your network connections, go to properties, the advanced tab and change the wireless mode. I watched other videos but none I saw recommended this. I actually don't know how I ended trying this but it worked.

If this doesn't work, some of the solutions other people did that made it work.

I switched between Dual band 802.11a/b/g and 802.11a/b. While switching fixed the problem, it wasn't permanent and the speed dropped after 2 minutes or so. I finally ended up restarting my modem and calling my Internet provider which resolved the problem. Oddly my phones weren't affected and it was only my PC and my laptop.

What did it for me was going into the adapter settings and putting the tick for IPv6 and then magically i went from 15mbps to 800mbps.
