How to Cook Pasta Al Dente

Instructions:

Add water to your pot and bring to a boil on high. Once boiling, salt thoroughly. When you taste the water, it should taste salty. “Like the ocean!” as grandma always used to say

Add pasta to water and turn heat to medium, stirring occasionally

Cook pasta for 1 minute less than instructions indicate on the box

DO NOT DRAIN YOUR PASTA IN A STRAINER!!! We suggest adding your pasta to your sauce by spooning it into the sauce with a spider or slotted spoon if you don’t have a spider.

We suggest adding a few spoonful’s of pasta water to your sauce. It helps thicken it and helps sauce stick to your pasta.
