To unclog a kitchen sink because of grease, I like the Roebic Crystal Drain Opener. It is a high concentration base that heats up and dissolves grease and food.
When applying the drain opener, wear rubber gloves and eye protection. Put 2 tablespoons of the drain opener into the drain and add 2 cups of cold water. You can cover the drain with a plastic bowl to avoid any splattering.
Let set for 20 to 30 minutes then flush with cold water.
If you drain is still slow, add more product and repeat the process.
This product is safer than acids and I like that it can't spill like liquids.
Don't use this in toilets, garbage disposals, aluminum, lead or rusted galvanized pipes.

This trick will only work if your kitchen sink is partially clogged. Heads Up: Use caution when handling boiling water. PVC starts to soften at 140 degrees Fahrenheit. (I've never heard of boiling water destroying anyone's pipes, but don't blame me if anything bad happens.) However, I take full credit when this makes your kitchen sink's drain squeaky clean!

In today’s video we’re going to show you a cheap, natural alternative to unclog your kitchen sink.
Whenever you’re washing dishes and start noticing that water in the sink is backing up, that means that the drain is probably clogged. This problem will most likely end up happening to someone who isn’t careful and doesn’t take the most basic precautions.
Most of the time, the back up happens due to a build up of fat in the pipes. When we rinse fat down the drain it’s normally liquid, but ends up congealing and blocking pipes.
Pieces of food and vegetable or fruit peel can also pile up where the pipes curve and keep the water from flowing.
So what do you do when this happens? Do you call a plumber? Do you buy a chemical product to unclog your sink?
Most people probably don’t know that these product contain harmful substances that can cause skin irritations and breathing problems.

How To Unclog/Clean Your Bathroom Sink Drain or Any Drain! QUICK AND EASY! (Baking Soda and Vinegar)
This works for any sink drain or bathtub drain! It cleans out the gunk in your sink or bathtub drain! **Note this is only for minor clogs, as major clogs will require more work, I posted the video link in the comments! :)
And by the way, It's supposed to be a 1:1 part of baking soda to (white) vinegar as in 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/2 cup vinegar and for the bathtub you can do 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/2 cup of vinegar as well
I also recommend using white vinegar.

Is your drain clogged? - Then try this secret plumber's trick!

When the drain in the kitchen is clogged, it's really annoying. But before you start unscrewing this one, you can give it a try with this secret plumber trick. Plumbers know this trick and actually use it in practice.
And all you need is washing-up liquid. Dishwashing liquid dissolves grease and dirt and can also free your drain. To do this, dump half a packet of washing-up liquid down the drain.
Then let it soak in for 10 minutes. Now close the plug and fill the entire sink with hot water. When it is full, open the plug so that it begins to drain. When all the water is gone, you should run hot water again for a few minutes.
Now your drain should be really nice and clear and will drain really nice again in the future. And all without you having to unscrew the drain.
So if your drain also drains badly, then definitely try it with this trick once!

The baking soda and white vinegar mixture will create a nice foaming action that will help your drain get rid of grease, old soap residue and other deposits, leaving your drain nice and clean!
My plumber suggested that I perform this routine as part of a regular maintenance at least once a year. No need to hire a an expensive plumber to perform this task. Thanks to my tips and tricks, you can do this on your own and FOR FREE! This video will also help you unclog and drain or pipe such as your drains in any sinks in your house including your kitchen and bathroom.
Here’s how to unclog your kitchen sink in 5 easy steps:
1) Pour a pot of boiling water down the drain.
2) Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
3) Pour 1 cup of white vinegar down the drain and let the mixture sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
4) Pour a pot of boiling water down the drain.
5) Run hot tap water for 5 minutes to make sure any remaining gunk is cleared out.
That’s it! It’s that simple!
Disclaimer: try these methods with caution and at your own risk. It works for most people, but depending on how bad your clogged drain is, there is no guarantee that it will work. Always seek professional help or advice from a plumber if you're unsure of what is clogging your drain.
Cautionary measure: no boiling water should be poured down into PVC piping. If you have PVC piping, let the water cool down a bit before pouring it down the drain. Warm water (140F or 60C is fine).

The snell knot was originally invented in Great Britain for eyeless hooks. It keeps the fishing line aligned with the shank of the fishing hook to preserve strength. It should be tied on hooks with a bent eye so that the line can exit straight without a kink. It is an important knot in multiple hook rigs.
Advantages:
Very strong attachment to hook retaining 95% plus line strength when tied well. No knot sits on the eye of the hook. Can be tied on eyeless hooks which is handy in a survival situation.
